The day she visited the office, everyone cried.
Salman is a child with special needs.
First diagnosed of Jaundice at birth which affected his brain.
The family couldn’t afford hospital treatment, hence resorted for herbal.
Now Salman is 3 years and cannot talk or respond to basic reflexes. A CT SCAN was requested to ascertain his condition and possible treatment, again, the mother run away as she couldn’t afford a CT scan worth 400 cedis.
Salman eats no food except cerelac which has plunged his unemployed mum into debt.
His life is threatened as some family members think “Its better to give him concoctions to die instead of suffering with him”.
The mother had to face a divorce as she insist on taking care of her child.
However she is exhausted, she said “If I get some people who collect children, I will give this boy out”.
Let’s support a mother see a new life in her child once again.
