Between September and November, we have been rasing funds together with you for the “MHP Hospital Rescue Project”.
This project was targeted to support very vulnerable children whose lives are in danger.
The team on the 1st of December visited CAREGIVERS and staff of the Nutrition Department of the Northern Regional Hospital.
It is true that children are very vulnerable when they are sick, however the most vulnerable are the ones among them whose body does not have enough energy and strength to fight these sicknesses.
On this visit, we saw children who are beyond malnourished, they are wasted and need serious intervention, but here comes the twist; “their parents in the first place could not AFFORD nutritious foods which led the children into this state, how will they afford treatment?”
The team found these children most vulnerable and more deserving of your kindest gesture.

Powdered soap was donated to the CAREGIVERS in the ward.
They appreciated this gesture so much that they rained prayers on each and everyone of you.
