Health Outreach in deprived communities

This project takes us to a selected rural community every month where healthcare is brought to the doorsteps of the people in a simple clinic form where they can get the support of volunteer medical officers who will screen them on selected conditions, provide them with consultation based on the outcome of the tests and assessments. When referrals are needed, clients are referred to a health facility. Health education is also given by volunteer nutrition and health education officers.

We have screened over 13,000 children and adults in 14 rural communities on various illness and provided counselling, treatment, medications and referrals to those recommended by our medical officers. 

Hereafter-Ghana provides its services to the communities without regard to the people ethnicity, race, ability, origin, religion, gender, age, or socioeconomic status.

We continually evaluate the changing needs of our communities and implement new strategies to meet those needs.

All the services provided to the people in the communities  are free of charge.
